The Pletternberg Bay Golf and Country Club is a proclaimed Nature Reserve - a place were the all alien vegetation is eradicated and replaced by indigenous flora and fauna. A lovely 18 holes parklands layout set in this private nature reserve. Annually this course gets tourist from all over the world. This is a true golfing tourist destination. The course is an easy walk for everyone, with beautiful lush Kikuyu fairways and newly overseeded bent greens. This is not the "little sea side course", all the bunkers and greens were build to the USGA specifications. When playing this course you might stumble upon some wild life. There are various species of monkeys, baboons, bird life and the occasional bushbuck. The average temperature for this area summer and winter various between 23 degrees and 17 degrees. The area is also very well renowned for its breathe taking beaches and water sports, so don't be fooled. Make a booking otherwise you will be very disappointed if you can't play this lovely course.
